The Seventh Cup
My Rating -5/5
This book
is such a fast-paced thriller. The author has done outstanding work in
providing a combination of philosophy and psychology. This book documents the
journey of Avinash and Verona as the main characters.
This book
also subtly draws the attention of the reader to the ground reality of India. It
is a well-known fact that today due to the tussle between science and religion,
it is mankind that has been suffering losses and is stuck between the two
without any respite in sight.
Having read
so many thrillers till now, I was able to guess some part of the climax after
reading half the book. Even then, the anticipation of reaching the climax of
this nail-biting thriller kept me on the edge.
The portrayal of the scenic beauty of Switzerland
as well as of various places in India has been done fabulously by the author.
The title of the book is appropriate as seven cups form an important element in
the story. Eagerly waiting to read other works the future by this author.
