Notes On An Execution

My Rating-5/5

This book which has been recently released has been creating a lot of buzz around Bookstagram. Moreover, being a fan of the crime genre, this book was right up my alley and high on my TBR list.

This book, though a work of fiction reads like a true-crime book. This book documents the last twelve hours of a serial killer before his execution.

This book also explores the circumstances that made this person commit such heinous crimes and led him to the present situation by detailing the point of view of his family members and other people who came in close contact with him throughout his life including his mother, wife, neighbours etc.

This book also highlights the very important fact that these sinister tendencies are mostly present in these monsters since childhood and if observed properly, we can stop them from wreaking havoc and killing innocent people.

As is evident, this book is triggering on all levels. Although if you are a follower of true crime aficionado and love to watch crime documentaries/shows like ‘Mindhunter’ or read various true crime books such as ‘My Life with Ted Bundy’ like me, then this book will satisfy your desire to know more about criminal psychology.
