This book is a tale of grit and determination. This book chronicles the journey of Fanny, who due to being born to an unwed mother is abandoned at the time of her birth.

 Thus, she grows up in an orphanage but with the help of her resilience managed to become an apprentice to a well-known fashion house. Her path coincides with three other people who provide her with some solace in her lonely heart. 

  With the beginning of the World War, the royalties of all the characters are tested. Moreover, when Fanny's past is brought to light, it makes her realise the people worth fighting for.

  The books based on the World Wars suit my taste in reading because having been born after such tumultuous times of history, these types of books as a reader and a member of the young generation of our society help me understand that war is never the answer as war ruins the lives and livelihoods of millions of people.

  This book is available on Kindle Unlimited in India. This book will suitable for historical fiction lovers as well as the people who need the much-required dose of inspiration to not give up on one's goals despite the hurdles being faced.
