This book should be read by everyone who was a fan of the Princess Diaries duology while growing up. This book chronicles the journey of Brielle, whose life undergoes a massive transformation when she learns about her royal heritage and discovers that she is a princess.

 The story explores the various inner conflicts and circumstances that Brielle goes through to adjust to her new life. Moreover, the condition of Brielle being married to become a queen creates major havoc in her life.

 The writing of the book is such that despite knowing the story it keeps you captivated. Moreover, the stories of princesses have rarely been based in Africa. As a result, this book also provides  representation to the people of Africa.
